DEDICATED CLIENT LINE TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the dedicated two-way phone number (“the Line”) provided by Buck Electric (“Buck Electric,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) for communicating with clients regarding scheduling, service calls, job updates, invoicing, and related customer service matters.

By calling or texting the Line, you (“you,” “the Client”) agree to these Terms.

1. Purpose of the Line

The Line is provided to give clients a direct, dedicated way to reach Buck Electric for:

- Scheduling or rescheduling service appointments

- Receiving job status updates (e.g., technician en route, job complete)

- Asking questions about an active or upcoming job

- Receiving invoices, payment reminders, or payment confirmations

- General customer service inquiries related to electrical work performed or requested

The Line is not monitored 24/7 and is not intended for emergencies. See Section 6 below.

2. Consent to Communicate

By initiating contact with the Line (calling or texting), or by providing your phone number to Buck Electric and agreeing to be contacted at that number, you consent to receive both calls and text messages from Buck Electric at the number provided, including:

- Appointment confirmations and reminders

- Job status and dispatch updates

- Invoices and payment-related messages

- Responses to inquiries you initiate

You may opt out of text communications at any time by replying STOP to any message. You may opt back in by replying START. Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier and plan.

Buck Electric does not charge for use of the Line itself.

3. Hours of Operation

The Line is monitored during normal business hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Messages or calls received outside these hours will be addressed on the next business day.

Response times are not guaranteed and may vary based on call/message volume.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Line to:

- Send harassing, abusive, threatening, or unlawful messages

- Send spam, solicitations, or unrelated marketing content

- Attempt to use the Line for purposes unrelated to Buck Electric services

- Buck Electric reserves the right to block or restrict any number that violates these Terms.

5. No Guarantee of Delivery or Availability

While Buck Electric makes reasonable efforts to keep the Line operational, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Text and call delivery depend on third-party carriers and networks outside our control. Buck Electric is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Emergencies

The Line is not an emergency service.

If you are experiencing an electrical emergency (e.g., active sparking, burning smell, exposed wiring, power outage posing a safety risk), do not rely on the Line — call 203-906-8338 or, if there is immediate danger to life or property, call 911.

7. Privacy

Information shared through the Line (your phone number, messages, call records) is used solely for the purpose of providing and improving Buck Electric services and will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your phone number or message content to third parties.

8. Recording of Calls

Calls to this Line may be recorded or monitored for quality assurance and training purposes. By calling, you consent to such recording.

9. Changes to These Terms

Buck Electric may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Line after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Manufacturer warranties may apply separately to materials or equipment.

Buck Electric is not responsible for:

- Pre-existing conditions

- Damage caused by third parties

- Damage or failures caused by misuse or neglect

- Problems resulting from failure to properly maintain electrical systems

- Conditions outside the scope of work agreed upon

To the extent permitted by law, Buck Electric's total liability relating to a specific service shall not exceed the amount paid for that service.
